Photo Quest #45 — The Black and White of It

This week's photos are once again of my cat, Pumpkin. He's been a very good subject lately. We actually have two cats but the other one is still freaked out by our recent move and she won't come out of the closet. I also played with Yanconyongs Old Photo Converter. These pictures were all taken with natural light on 2-2-09. We have strong shadows today, and it is Groundhog Day, so it looks like Winter will stick around a bit longer.

Thank you. The poor old phone no longer works. The plug, where it plugs into the wall, is a different shape from the ones they have now. I still keep it around. I like it for some reason. It is very heavy.

Great series of B&W photos! I especially like the second photo of Pumpkin. He shows mysterious and impressive eyes in the picture. Contrast on black and white is also nice.Do you still use your grandfather's old phone?
