My Sewing Room

My sewing rooms above the garage are now finished. Or finished enough to start moving in. One of the main reasons we bought this house was because it had this wonderful garage with two rooms above it. They needed some tender loving care and a lot of work but we are finally to the point where I can start working up there. We painted the walls, removed the nasty, stinky carpet, and added the wood floor and trim. We still need to install some lighting but that won’t take long. I’m very pleased.

  1. See if you can't install a ceiling fan with the lighting, but not over the cutting area. 🙂

  2. That is true. It is always cool down there.

Thanks! Basements can be nice too. You won't have to fight the heat in the summer. I'm afraid my attic room is going to get very hot.

  4. What a wonderful space, and with nice natural lighting. And you won't have to put everything away when you are working on it. I have plenty of space in my basement, but not much natural light. Enjoy!

Thanks Tim. I've got a lot of ideas, I just needed a place to make them happen.

A fresh canvas is nice. Happy creative design and sewing.
