This 36″ baby quilt is a great scrap buster. I used lots of bright scraps for the border squares and I even used scraps for the binding. This pattern (available here) has two different sized templates for the hexagon blocks. You can make the 48 small 3″ blocks shown here or you can make much larger 6″ blocks and you only need 12 of them. When I quilted this one I tried to make the quilting look like curly pig tails.
