Flowers :-)

We had a few sprinkles today! I hope the cycle of unbearable heat is behind us. Yesterday it was 104° officially at the airport, although my thermometer went up to 109°. Uggh! But just a few raindrops brought out some flowers this morning.

  1. Mine were, too, and thicker. Color helps to make everything thicker. And I use more conditioner.
It was a major life style change when I got mine cut. My stylist really wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing! I've had it short now for 11 years.

The grey hairs are thicker than the others so mine is getting out of control. It looks thinner when it is longer so it is a compromise.

  3. I've been coloring for years. I don't get me nails done, but I do get color done professionally two or three times a year. I've been doing to so long that the don't think anyone remembers what I used to look like. I was even coloring my long hair! I didn't mind a few grey hairs, but it was starting to look pretty drab. My mom and dad were both prematurely grey. My mom's ended up being a beautiful white color, but mine is still just uninteresting.

58 is cold!!Yes I had hair down to my rear-end, but it did not get along with diaper duty. Even in a pony tail. I chopped it to just below the shoulders but I tend to ignore it because I get busy, and the next thing I know it's halfway down my back again.

  5. I used to have long hair, too, in one of my earlier lives! But I always pulled it back in the pony tail or something. I went short again about 13 years ago and its staying that way!
I can stand heat, even in the 90s. That is why my flower bed had gotten so out of control. We had 58 here this morning. It almost felt cool when I went out to get the hummingbird feeder.

I had to google old Rosanna, I had forgotten exactly what she looked like. No, I'm not that bushy, it just feels that way sometimes.

OK, not the face, just lots of bushy hair! It used to be all the way down to my rear, but I've cut it back in recent years. I'm just an older version of my daughter. She's my little clone.

It gets very very humid here. I have lots of thick hair and in the humidity I start looking like Rosanne Rosanna Danna. Remember her? lol. Or Cousin "It" from the Adams Family…

Must be nice! We are dying out here. Actually, today was overcast all day, it may have gotten up in the 90s but that is a major improvement.

  12. Beautiful! I have some of the little blue flowers. They remind me of little orchids.
Hope you get some cooler weather. It didn't get out of the 70s here today. It was perfect! I was able to work out in the flower bed for over a hour.

Night temps in the 80s. The humidity is high too. Not good for ladder duty. I'm hoping it's over.
